Ingredients:
- 2 cups chopped and cooked chicken
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp. basil leaves
- 1 tsp. lemon rind
- 2 tsp. mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
- thawed puff pastry
- 1 lightly beaten egg
- In a bowl mix well chicken, mustard, sour cream , basil, lemon rind, salt and pepper together.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Line baking tray with non stick baking paper.
- Line 2 layers of pastry on the baking tray.
- Spoon the filling in the center of the pastry.
- Brush the inside edge of pastry with the slightly beaten egg.
- Place the remaining pastry on top of the filling.
- Press the edges to seal.
- Brush top part with beaten eggs.
- Bake for 25-3 minutes or until pastry is puffed and golden brown in color.
