Lentil Soup with Bok Choy




                                           Lentil Soup Recipe


This lentil recipe is as good as monggo beans, the texture is similar as the monggo beans when its cooked and it can be used as substitute for it. Must try this easy recipe.

Ingredients:


  • 250 grams lentils (washed)
  • 150 grams meat
  • 1 medium size onion, finely sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 bunch bok choy
  • cooking oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method:


  1. Saute garlic and onion.
  2. Add the meat and cook until brown.
  3. Add water and let it boil.
  4. Put the lentils and cook until soft in texture. Add water if needed.
  5. Wash bok choy and cut separate the white part from the leaf.
  6. Add the white part of bok choy and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Salt and pepper to taste
  8. Add the leafy part of bok choy. Put lid on.
  9. Turn off heat.
  10. Enjoy!
