Leche Flan Recipe
Ingredients:
- 10 pcs eggs
- 1 can condensed milk
- 250 ml evaporated milk
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- flan mold or any shape of mold available
Method
- Separate yolk from egg white. Egg yolks will be use.
- Beat egg yolks in a bowl.
- Add condensed milk and mix well.
- Add fresh milk and mix thoroughly.
- Add the vanilla extract.
- For Caramel : Bring a small amount of water to boil and add the brown sugar in a medium heat until sugar caramelized.
- Pour in the caramelized sugar in the mold. Set aside. Wait for 2 minutes.
- Pour the egg yolk mixture.
- Cover with aluminum foil.
- Steam for about 35 minutes.
- After steaming, let it cool down and refrigerate.
- Transfer in a plate.
- Serve and enjoy!
